Learn the brand partnership system I use to help creators win paid deals using positioning, a strong media kit, and smart pitching.
What brands really buy
When I managed campaigns for established brands, I cared about alignment, not fame. I looked for creators who understood the product, the audience, and the outcome we needed. You can win deals with a small audience if you show that you move people to action.
Step 1: Position your niche and promise
Write a one line hook for your profiles. Example: I help first time moms find simple wellness routines that fit real life. Add a clean bio, location, contact, and links to your best work.
Step 2: Build a media kit that tells a story
Your kit should include:
- About you and the audience you serve
- Audience demographics and engagement rate
- Best performing posts with links
- Past partnerships or sample UGC
- Packages and rates
- Contact information
Keep it one to two pages. Use Canva and export as PDF.
Step 3: Price with confidence
Set three packages:
- Starter: one short video and one story set
- Standard: two videos, one carousel, one story set
- Launch: three videos, usage rights, link in bio for a set period
Add usage and whitelisting fees. Add rush fees. Create a rate calculator so you are not guessing.
Step 4: Warm up brands before you pitch
Pick ten brands you already use. Follow, comment thoughtfully, and tag them in a natural post. After two weeks, send a short pitch.
Pitch outline
- One sentence about what you love
- One sentence about your audience and how it matches
- One idea for content that supports a goal they have
- One line call to action to connect
Short wins. Long emails get ignored.
Step 5: Deliver like a professional
Confirm brief, deadlines, and approvals in writing. Share your content plan, shoot windows, and caption concepts. Submit on time. Send results and insights after the post goes live. I have kept creators on retainer because they sent clean reports and clear next steps.
A story from my own desk
One of my smallest creators had two thousand followers in a tight wellness niche. Her videos explained routines with calm authority. She pitched three brands she already used, offered a two video test package, and delivered clean content and a tidy report. Two brands extended to quarterly deals. It worked because her positioning and process felt like a business.
Your first 14 day plan
- Days 1 to 3: update profiles and media kit
- Days 4 to 7: post two niche videos and tag two brands you love
- Days 8 to 10: engage with ten target brands
- Days 11 to 14: send five concise pitches with one idea each
Professional energy wins more than follower count. Brands notice creators who make their job easier.
